Making STEM opportunities easier to access.

StemLaunch makes STEM opportunities easier to discover and understand, particularly for people who don't know where to start or face additional barriers to entering the sector.

Why we exist

Careers in science, technology, engineering and maths can feel hard to get into when you don't have the right information, relevant experience, people in the industry to ask, or confidence about where to begin.

Opportunities are spread across hundreds of websites, and entry requirements are often written for people who already know the system. We bring them together, explain what each one asks for, and help you find routes that fit where you are now.

There's more than one way into STEM. Apprenticeships, entry-level jobs, training and work experience can all be starting points, and some routes don't need a university degree. Others do, and we'll always tell you honestly what's required.

How we work

StemLaunch is an independent careers platform. We are not a recruiter, employer or training provider, and we take no fee from applicants. Every opportunity links to its official source, and we tell you when we last checked the details. Closed opportunities are removed from our listings automatically.

Our guides are researched against official sources such as GOV.UK, the National Careers Service, NHS Careers, UCAS and professional bodies. We don't invent people, statistics or salary figures. Read our editorial standards.

StemLaunch is free to use and funded through advertising and partnerships. Advertisers have no say over our content, and anything paid for is labelled.

Important limits

What we publish is careers information, not personalised careers guidance. The AI Career Advisor gives suggestions to research further, not decisions. Always confirm entry requirements, pay and funding with the official source before you apply.
